The 18″ Tyler features a swirling ribbon sweeping across the upper portion of a geometric shade. The exotic interplay between geometric and organic is accentuated by the shade’s turban shape. This shade was paired with the Decorated Trumpet base (21″ tall) and has been sold.
When viewed from above, the rhythmic undulations of the swirling ribbon become an exotic dance. It has been speculated that this design was inspired by ancient Roman floor mosaics.
