The 18″ Peacock is an elaborate Tiffany Studios’ design that consists of overlapping peacock feathers swirling downwards across the surface of the shade. Horizontal border rows contain the feathers and give the design definition. This example features blue feathers tinged with purple blending through green, continuing to lighter reddish tones at the bottom. The shade is shown on the impressive Peacock base which continues the peacock feather design in bronze down to the table. Each feather on the base has a stained glass eyes at its center. This shade was created in 2005 and is in a private collection.
