The 26″ Turtleback shade was designed to be used as a chandelier fixture. This massive shade perfectly conveys the impression of a large tortoise shell, thus the moniker for both the shade and the pressed glass tiles used to create it. Composed entirely of large turtleback tiles, the spaces between the tiles are filled in with hand cut turtleback pieces. This impressive chandelier fixture weighs in at just under 50lbs. Created as a showroom example in the early 2000’s, the shade is now in the collection of a Southern client.
