We are busy at the studio working on two large shades for different clients – a 22″ Poinsettia and a 22″ Trumpet Vine. The glass shown in the first photo is under consideration for the trumpet vine. The poinsettia is shown laid out on the light table before being transferred onto the form. Irwin has been soldering on the poinsettia this week and the shade is nearing completion, while Bill has been working on the trumpet vine layout.

One of the pleasures of having an open studio is that clients and interested visitors have been able to stop in and see us working on projects, view completed lamps for sale, and learn a bit about the process of creating a lamp. Unfortunately, with the current situation our door must remain locked to visitors but we will continue to invite all of you into our studio through our posts.
