The 20″ Jonquil Daffodil is one of the few Tiffany Studios lamp patterns that incorporates two varieties of flower on the same shade. The upper half of the shade features large yellow daffodils in full bloom, with their trumpets nodding gracefully. The lower half is scattered with a profusion of delicate Narcissus blooms whose bright faces are turned upwards towards the sun. The subtle blue of the background glass and the green border tones interact harmoniously with the flowers. Commissioned in 2013 by a client in New York, the shade is pictured on the Decorated Library base (This base is currently not available).
