Century Studios was commissioned to create two geometric lamps by a local client. The first lamp is a 7″ Geometric shade on the Piano Lamp base. The Piano Lamp style is a wonderful accent lamp, especially when placed atop a piano or book case.
The second lamp is a 12″ Acorn on a custom Pottery Lamp base. At Century Studios, we create Acorn shades in 10″, 12″, 14″, 16″, and 20″ sizes. These versatile shades work with any interior decoration and can be made in a wide variety of colors.
The pottery lamp base was a custom piece created for this shade by referencing an original Tiffany lamp on a Grueby pottery base. The green glass was chosen to compliment the glaze on the base, and the amber “acorns” provide a color accent which enlivens the lamp.
