This past weekend at the Arts & Crafts Show, we featured several newly made lamps in our booth. Of these recently created pieces, we introduced a new design to our line of bases – the Doric Column Torchiere base.
This reproduction Tiffany Studios base was made in our studio and is a variation on on the Doric Column base. On our yearly trips to New York City, we had noticed a pair of original examples at the Armory when we toured the Tiffany-designed rooms there.
The torchiere base is perfect for way to provide indirect lighting and can be used on a buffet, side table, atop a bookcase, or on a wide fireplace mantle. We are showing the lamps with a matching pair of 10″ Acorn shades, and this base can also be created with 8″ or 12″ inverted shades. These lamps are sold individually are are currently available for purchase in our showroom.
