The 20″ Poppy is a classic Tiffany Studios lamp design. The pattern exhibits an economy of line that is both pleasing and balanced. The horizontal band of leaves grounds the design while the vertical leadlines representing the slender flower stems ascend towards the top of the shade. Each stem supports a bud or open flower. The 20″ Poppy has pierced metal filigree on the flower centers and behind the leaves, giving the shade added depth.
Commissioned by a West Coast client, the shade is shown on the Twisted Vine base (25.5″ tall).
