Due to their abstract design, dragonfly shades can be created in any color combination. The lively color palette of this dramatic 22″ Dragonfly shade shifts from butter yellow to lavender/purple, which sets off the row of dragonflies at the bottom of the shade. The background of the shade is encrusted with light blue pressed glass jewels. This shade design is often referred to as the “Drophead Dragonfly” because the insects created the irregular lower border. Commissioned by an Ohio client in 2013, the shade is shown on the distinctive Twisted Vine base.
