Tiffany Studios often took inspiration for their lamp designs from climbing flowers and vines such as this 16″ Woodbine shade. The Woodbine, also known as Virginia Creeper, is a climbing vine whose leaves turn from green to vivid autumnal tones in the fall. Here, the colorful leaves are rendered in tones of amber, yellow, and orange against a background of fracture/streamer glass. The overall effect of this shade is a light, crisp fall afternoon. The shade is shown on a two tone glazed Leaves of Grass Pottery base. This lamp is currently available for purchase in our showroom.
