As we progress with the foiling on the 22″ Elaborate Peony shade, it is time to prepare the lamp form. To hold the pieces of glass in place for soldering, the Fiberglas form is coated in a layer of sticky wax. We heat up our in-house made beeswax-based mixture and paint onto the form so we can transfer the foiled pieces and hold them in place.
