This pair of 16″ Snowball shades was commissioned in 2015 by a client in Michigan. Snowball shades invite creative glass choices and the varieties selected include ring mottled, streaky, and rippled glass. Beginning at the top with a medium blue/purple sky, the rich brown branches descend into foliage that is a lively mix of green, off white, and amber. Hints of blue and pink are mixed throughout to give depth to the color scheme. The pair of shades have been installed as a chandelier fixtures.
