We have created numerous Turtleback Hanging Lanterns over the years. This example with emerald green turtleback tiles was made in 2012 for a client in California. Green, amber or red turtlebacks can be used in the lanterns, and each lantern has a hinged door with a glass panel on the bottom to let light shine below. The heavy bronze casting is created at our studio using the lost wax casting method utilizing molds taken off a Tiffany Studios original. The completed lantern has a distinctive, period look.
