Dragonfly shades are equally stunning when created in a wide variety of color variations. We have made dragonfly shades in color tones ranging from delicate whites to vibrant greens and reds, but this was the first time we have been commissioned to create a midnight blue 22″ Dragonfly shade.
The background of this “night time dragonfly” was carefully blended together from several types of glass and lights with a deep glowing blue with hints of fuchsia and purple. The jewels that dot the surface of the shade were pressed at our studio and are a mix of many blue tones. The velvety red dragonfly bodies and multicolored wings add just the right accent of color to the lower portion of the shade. The shade is shown on the Twisted Vine base.
