With the icy chill of winter finally descending on the Upper Midwest, we thought that it would be nice to revisit our peaceful Winter window. Created as a studio piece in the mid-1990’s, this window has three plated glass layers which give depth to the coloration. The night sky dazzles with multiple layers of fracture/streamer glass, while the subtle tones of the woman’s cloak is achieved by a combination of colored glass for shading behind a layer of off-white drapery glass. This window is in the collection of a South Dakota client.
