The generous proportions of the 20″ Acorn shade give this lamp a commanding presence. The “acorn” pattern was originally designed as a “leaf border”, but the nut inspired moniker has become the accepted name for this pattern. Commissioned by a client in Louisiana in 2011, the shade uses heavily mottled green glass for the upper and lower geometric sections. The green background on the decorative band is slightly lighter in tone and the acorns are a rich amber. The shade is shown on the Decorated Library base.
