The 18″ Cobweb shade is an early Tiffany Studios shade design. Only three original examples of this pattern are known to exist. The shade is faceted with six flattened areas, each of which contain a spider’s web. Cast metal branch work forms the irregular lower edge of the shade. The painstaking custom glass mosaic work on the Wheat Mosaic Base was executed at our studio specifically to compliment this shade. The lamp was made in the early 1990’s and is now in a private local collection.
