The 16″ Bamboo is an unusual Tiffany lamp design where that the glass for each leaf is heated in a kiln and bent to follow the curvature of the shade. Slumping the glass allows for a natural flow within the design without the need for additional lead lines in the long leaves. This shade, created in 2006 as a showroom piece and now in a private collection, is shown on the Bamboo base. The combination of integrated shade and base gives the lamp a cohesive, exotic feel.
