Dragonfly lamps have always been Tiffany Studios signature shade pattern. Created in a wide variety of sizes and shapes, the 14″ Dragonfly is the smallest example in this family of lamps. Six dragonflies hover over the surface of the shade that is inset with pressed glass “jewels”. For this example, a multicolored glass with green, blue, purple and pink was selected for the main body of the shade. Purple winged dragonflies with green bodies interact with blue and green jewels to form a wide band around the bottom half of the shade. Commissioned by a client in Washington state in 2013, the shade is shown on the Pony Tree Trunk base (16″ tall).
