As often happens in the studio, we have been working on multiple projects over the past few weeks.
While Irwin Terry was busy cutting geometric shades, Bill Campbell worked on painstakingly cutting and fitting the the glass mosaic on two lamp bases. The completed bases are shown below.
As Bill finished applying and grouting the glass mosaic, Irwin took each base to be assembled and wired.
Both of us have been working foiling on the larger of the two geometric lamps.
While working on these projects, we were also engaged in preparing waxes to take to the foundry. These waxes will be dropped off when we will pick up the raw bronze lamp base castings that will be completed in the coming weeks as we also continue to work the lamps shown above.
